Engine Performance
Propelling the Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up, you get a BS-IV compliant, 4-cylinder, 2523cc, mDI 3200 turbocharged diesel motor. It churns out 70 bhp @ 3200 rpm maximum power and 200 Nm @ 1400-2200 rpm pounding torque. A 5-speed Synchromesh manual gearbox transmits power to the wheels with the help of a single-plate dry clutch plate. The mini pick-up truck remains loaded with a 60-litre fuel tank and offers a total driving range of 780 km.
The Isuzu D-Max truck gets powered by a BS-IV compliant, 4-cylinder, 2499 cc, Common-Rail, Turbocharged Intercooled mill. It pumps out a maximum power of 78 bhp @ 3800 rpm, and a peak torque of 176 Nm @ 1800-2400 rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox performs the transmission duties in this pick-up truck. It remains loaded with 55-litres fuel tank and offers an approximate driving range of 726 km.
Design and Built
Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up comes with a GVW of 3425 kg, and a kerb weight of 1725 kg. It can transport a maximum payload of 1700 kg. Similarly, Isuzu D-Max demonstrates a GVW of 2850 kg and a kerb weight of 1650 kg. It has a loading capacity of 1200 kg. Both the commercial vehicles come with a deck body and a day cabin built on the chassis. However, the Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up has a non-Ac cabin, whereas you have an option of fitting air condition in Isuzu D-Max.
